This 2-day ride features the Chautauqua County Equestrian Trail System of Boutwell Hill State Forest. Proceeds to benefit the CCETS. Come ride some of the most scenic trails of New York State. They feature winding forest single track, wide forestry roads, improved footing for horses, hills to climb, windmills to pass, and lots and lots to look at! Trail routes will be slightly different from last year.
Control Vet: Art King
Ride Manager: Audrey Hager
Trail Master: Sandy Colvenback
Ride Secretary: Carolyn Blocker
Note to anyone interested in doing the Intro rides, this is a great training opportunity for horses and riders alike! Horses are vetted the same standards as the longer distance horses. There will be availability for folks to vet in the night before or the morning of the ride. The distance is 15 miles in 1 loop. Riders do not have a time limit and can set their own pace. Once completed, the horses must complete a vet check to earn their completion prize. For any other questions please email laurelinfarm@gmail.com
Volunteers are needed! If you want to help mark trails, be spotters, help with parking, etc…please contact Audrey Hager or Caroline North. Email us at laurelinfarm@gmail.com Thanks!
